Church Community Fund

12th July 2020

Dear Parishioners of Holy Family Church, Pestom Sagar,

Warm greetings to each of you!

As we continue to be under lockdown and have to face varied difficulties, Fr Vernon and I assure you of our prayers at Mass and during our daily Rosary.
With the assistance of the Parish Pastoral Council, SCC co-ordinators and animators and the SSVP, etc, the parish is reaching out to address the needs of our parishioners and others. As soon as the lockdown is lifted and on the instructions of the Cardinal, we will reopen the church for services.
I know that many of you may be facing a financial strain during this period. Since the lockdown began, the parish also has not received sufficient contributions. I am thankful to those who showed concern and generosity by making their contributions even during the lockdown.

I am making an appeal to please consider fulfilling your responsibility to make your contribution to the parish and the community welfare fund but only if it is possible for you, without any compulsion.

You can choose to make a contribution to any one or both of the following accounts:
A fixed percentage is used for medical and educational aid, SCC activities, church upkeep and monthly ration and monetary aid to the SVP adopted families

Please click below link for paying online towards Community Fund:

Used for payments for repairs and maintenance, staff salaries, priests stipend, overheads and purchases, parish level activities and other petty expenses.

Your cheques (PAN required for Rs. 5,000 and above) or cash (not more than Rs. 2000) should be handed over to the community co-ordinator/animators who will arrange to hand them over to the parish office. Please use your Community Fund envelope or any envelope with your name, address and community clearly written.

Thanking you and with an assurance of our prayerful support always,

In Christ,

Fr Leon Mascarenhas
