Church Community Fund

23rd June 2021

Dear Parishioners,

Affectionate greetings to each one of you from Fr Vernon and myself!

Even though some lockdown restrictions have eased, permission to open religious places of worship has not been given. The church has not reopened after being shut since April 4th 2021.

I am aware that many individuals and families of our parish are struggling to manage with issues relating to health, work and finance, etc. Through the Small Christian Communities, SVP and others groups and associations, the parish has tried to reach out to those who need help.

I am thankful to all our parishioners who even during the lockdown have made their contribution to the Community Fund by cheque or NEFT.

The Community Fund invites every earning member of our parish to contribute 1% of their monthly income. A pre-determined percentage of the total income from the Community Fund is used for medical and educational aid, for SCC activities, for church maintenance as well as to pay for the monthly ration and monetary aid to the SVP adopted families.

Since the community fund has reduced drastically in recent months, I am writing to appeal to you to make your contribution, however small, by cheque or NEFT to the ‘HOLY FAMILY CHURCH COMMUNITY FUND’ and only if you are in a financial position to do so.

1.     Payment by cheque is the preferred option.

2.     If using NEFT:

a)  After making the online payment please fill and submit the details asked in the Google Form link attached here so as to inform us of the transaction you have made.

b)    If you fail to submit the Google Form, any online payment made by you may not be acknowledged.

         3.     For any queries you can send an email to
